Make your submission true to YOU, not true to what you think we want to hear. Our winners are selected each month off of the authenticity, personality, resilience, determination, compassion, and HEART they share in their submissions. Your letters of recommendation should reflect the qualities and attributes you bring to your community! Trust yourselves and trust the process! Before we announce the winner(s) for August 2025, we felt it was important to look back and share some statistics from the first 12 months of offering official Heartworkers Union Youth Scholarships 📈📈📈 🔥🔥🔥❤️💪🏽💯 We first launched this idea in August 2024 not sure how long we would be able to sustain it, but with the generous support of our donors and volunteers, we have been able to grant over $4,000 to 18 different youth from 6 different California Counties all off of networking and building community with like-minded and like-hearted people from all over the state! Spanning multiple generations, cultures, and backgrounds with a shared vision of giving back and empowering the next generation of Heartworkers‼️ We have plans of expanding our offerings and being a resource for many more communities throughout California, but first we must expand our TEAM! We would love to bring interns and apprentices along with us as we grow, and we would also love to offer some paid opportunities as well! Can you help with website design & maintenance?
